Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Brut Bosco del Merlo is made from 100% Glera grapes which, having reached the correct maturity, are harvested in the early hours of the day to ensure the preservation of the aromatic characteristics of the grape.

Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Brut Bosco del Merlo is produced through white vinification with soft pressing and fermentation of purity at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation and fermentation take place in an autoclave for about 60 days at 13 - 14°C, with conservation of the noble bubble, the sugar dosage is kept very low (6 gr / l) in order to best enhance the quality of the grapes. and the fragrance of the Prosecco.

 

Tasting

At sight it is bright straw yellow with greenish reflections, creamy foam. Its perlage is very fine, noble and persistent. The nose is characterised by hints of white pulp fruit, embellished with delicate and enveloping floral nuances of rose and acacia flowers. On the palate it has an acidity that gives a marked freshness with a rich and well balanced aftertaste.

Produced in the most typical area, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a cultural landscape. Ideal for the whole meal thanks to the low residual sugar.

Superlative as an aperitif, indispensable throughout the meal, a perfect sparkling wine to be tasted in moments of conviviality. Try it in combination with savory first courses such as potato ravioli stuffed with Casatella Trevigiana Dop and asparagus or fish-based dishes such as baked monkfish with cherry tomatoes and Taggiasca olives.
