Sauvignon Blanc Turranio DOC Friuli
At The Vineyard
A pure Sauvignon Blanc, the result of a careful study of clonal selection. The parceled harvest of the different clones allows to create the harmonious complexity of this product. The first harvest gives the wine freshness and minerality, in the second parcelisation structure and body are sought, while the third brings warmer and sunnier notes.
The three batches are vinified separately, the fermentation of the must takes place very slowly at low temperatures. The wine then rests for 5 months in steel containers on a bed of fine lees, in order to maximise the varietal characteristics and give structure and elegance to the wine.
Tasting
Straw yellow colour, with greenish reflections, a typical perfume with strong notes of melon, peach, tomato leaf and sage. A dry, decisive and remarkably persistent flavor. It is a wine that is recognised for the refinement and extreme elegance of its notes, the supreme balance and typicality.
Plus
Multiple awards achieved all over the world: Special Trophy at the Concours Mondial du Sauvignon 2011, Gold Medal with the vintages 2009, 2016, 2019.
