Ribolla Gialla Iside IGP Venezia Giulia

Ribolla Gialla Iside IGP Venezia Giulia

At The Vineyard

The vineyards are located in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, an area with a strong tradition linked to the Ribolla Gialla. The pedological characteristics of these soils are optimal for the cultivation of this vine, giving freshness and aromatic complexity. The grapes are harvested when they reach perfect maturity, during the first ten days of September. Harvesting takes place in the coolest hours of the day to preserve the primary aromas.

After a short maceration, the must is separated from the skins through a  delicate pressing. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at low temperatures and is followed by aging on the lees for a long period before bottling.

Tasting

The wine has a deep straw yellow colour; on the nose the scents are sweet, reminiscent of wild flowers and white pulp fruit, such as peach. The taste is soft, enveloping and balanced with a mineral component accompanied by good flavour and excellent persistence.

Plus

The aromatic characteristics of this wine, such as minerality and freshness, blend perfectly with the company style, recognisable from the first tasting.

What does "Isis" mean?

Goddess of magic and motherhood. In the tradition of Ancient Egypt, Isis was a symbol of fertility and rebirth with a particular reference to the territory and nature.

Pairings

Ideal with fish-based dishes, in particular it goes perfectly with baked sea bass in a salt crust. Also worth trying with a selection of blue cheeses.
