Pinot Grigio Tudajo DOC Delle Venezie

Pinot Grigio Tudajo DOC Delle Venezie

At the vineyard

Pinot Grigio is a traditional variety of this area, which has been cultivated for centuries. This grape expresses great elegance and character in a soil mainly composed of clay and caranto.

Pinot Grigio Tudajo comes from the characteristic coppery coloured grapes vinified in white. The musts, divided according to the pressing phase, are vinified separately and only the most delicate pressings contribute to the formation of the final blend. The wine is then left to refine in steel tanks for an ideal period to achieve the best balance and maximum finesse.

Tasting

Straw yellow colour with slight coppery shades that recall the colour of the grape. The scent is intense, with hints of acacia flowers and nutmeg. On the palate it is dry, pleasantly broad and confirms the olfactory sensations.

Plus

Harmony and persistence make it perfect for every palate. An elegant wine that can easily adapt to a thousand tastes, combinations and menus.

What does Tudajo mean?

Taken from the mythology of the Dolomites, it is the name of a legendary prince transfigured into the mountain.

Pairings

Excellent with first courses, even more elaborate ones. It goes divinely with seafood and white meats. We also recommend it in combination with legume and vegetable dishes, such as chickpea salad or ginger lentils.
